Twinkle, twinkle so little star
how I wonder how brave you are.
Shining there the whole night long,
shedding light for the weak and strong.
Can you spare a beacon for one depressed?
Just a silver sliver for one distressed?
Or does your blanket cover all,
one forever standing tall?
Silver beacon in the night-dark sky
is there hope for one as I?
You with many-a twinkling friend,
can you comfort to me extend?
I've been told that I'm a star,
brightly burning away so far
never in my wildest dreams did I
believe that I could be a glimmer in the sky
To lofty of dream, that I fear,
landing hard on streets of drear.
To grow, to reach, my starry friends,
a dream I dare not dream.
To marvel in their glistening light,
is my fortune in life it seems.
Twinkle, twinkle so little star
how I wonder how brave you are.
Shining there the whole night long,
shedding light for the week and strong.
